Investment analysis and prospect prediction report of China's aramid fiber industry in 2010
CIC consultant recently launched the report on investment analysis and prospect prediction of China's aramid fiber industry in 2015, although it is a little fanciful of foreign countries. The report consists of seven chapters. First, it introduces the definition, classification and application of aramid fiber, then analyzes the development of synthetic fiber industry at home and abroad, the external environment and overall status quo faced by China's aramid fiber industry, and then introduces the development of aramid fiber bulletproof materials, aramid fiber skeleton materials, aramid paper and aramid cloth. Then, the report analyzes the operation status of major aramid fiber production enterprises at home and abroad, such as DuPont, teiren, Yantai spandex, Hebei Silicon Valley chemical, Guangdong Caiyan, and finally analyzes the investment potential and future prospects of the aramid fiber industry
aramid fiber, fully known as "poly (p-phthaloyl-p-phenylenediamine), is a new high-tech synthetic fiber, which has excellent properties such as ultra-high strength, high modulus, high temperature resistance, acid and alkali resistance, light weight, good insulation and aging resistance, and has a long life cycle
since the successful development and industrialization of aramid fiber by DuPont in the 1960s, aramid fiber has gone through the transition from military strategic materials to civil materials in more than 40 years. Foreign aramid fiber is becoming more and more mature in terms of research and development level and large-scale production. In the field of aramid fiber production, para aramid fiber has the fastest development, and the production capacity is mainly concentrated in Japan, the United States and Europe
aramid fibers are mainly divided into two categories: meta aramid (1313) and para aramid (1414). No matter from the international market or the domestic market, there are only a few large-scale production enterprises of Aramid 1313 and aramid 1414, and the aramid industry presents an obvious oligopoly pattern. By the end of 2007, the total production capacity of para aramid 1414 in the world had reached about 55000 tons. A total of four enterprises in the world have realized the industrialization of meta Aramid 1313, with a total capacity of about 30000 tons. Among them, DuPont has the largest production capacity, accounting for about 80% of the global production capacity
although China's aramid fiber industry started late after its establishment, it developed rapidly. On the one hand, it is necessary for petrochemical enterprises to carefully evaluate the investment related to raw materials under a series of price scenarios, and the production technology has made rapid progress. Domestic enterprises have not only successfully realized the industrialization of meta aramid staple fiber, but also made breakthroughs in the field of filament and para aramid fiber. On the other hand, the domestic market is developing rapidly. China's aramid fiber is an emerging market, with an annual growth rate of more than 30%. The aramid fiber manufacturing industry in China has entered a period of rapid development. In 2000, the production capacity was only 10 tons/year, and by the end of 2006, it had exceeded 5000 tons/year
China began to research and develop meta aramid production technology in the early 1960s. It was not until 2004 that this technology was broken. Yantai spandex Co., Ltd. took the lead in realizing the industrial production of meta aramid in China, breaking the monopoly situation of foreign companies. By 2007, the intermediate aramid production capacity of Yantai spandex Co., Ltd. has reached 2800t/A, ranking second among the world's top aramid suppliers. In addition to Yantai spandex, China Guangdong Caiyan company also has a 1000t/a meta aramid production unit put into operation, making China occupy two of the only four meta aramid suppliers in the world. The localization of meta aramid fiber has greatly promoted the development of upstream and downstream industries. Especially under the background of obvious processing and manufacturing advantages of China's textile industry, the global intermediate aramid industry, especially the downstream processing industry of intermediate aramid, has a clear trend of transferring to China
aramid fiber is an organic high-temperature resistant fiber with excellent comprehensive performance and ideal cost performance. It has broad application prospects in advanced composite materials, bulletproof products, building materials, special protective clothing, electronic equipment and other fields
